Administration
Welcome to Nodaway Valley! I joined the Nodaway Valley Community School District in 2019. Previously, I was the shared superintendent for East Mills and Essex.
As an educator, I am committed to excellence. I am willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure success for all NV students and will work hard to improve processes and to collaborate with community members, administrators, staff and students.
My duties include serving as the principal of the high school. I believe that all students are capable of learning and that we are continually working to make students career-ready when they leave high school, whether they enter higher education or the workforce after high school.
Prior to becoming the Elementary Principal at Nodaway Valley in 2021, I was a sixth grade ELA instructor and mentor teacher at Nodaway Valley Middle School.
We work hard at Nodaway Valley Elementary to do what is best for our students. We continue to focus on reading strategies to help all students become skillful, proficient and motivated readers.

Hello, Wolverines! It’s a beautiful thing when passion and career meet! My Career experience over the last 20 years has allowed me to work with youth in many capacities, including educationally, athletically, social-emotionally, and through culture-building experiences.
I believe that a strong culture sets the stage for success in all aspects of a well-rounded student experience. Through collaboration with parents, staff, community, and available resources, we will provide an environment that allows all students to feel supported, safe and shines with WOLVERINE PRIDE!!
